Beyond her own productions, Delphine has written more than 43 screenplays for filmmakers across Cameroon and internationally, earning a reputation for developing compelling narratives with strong emotional and cultural resonance.

She is an alumna of the New York Film Academy (NYFA), where she honed her filmmaking craft through intensive hands-on training. Her expertise and contribution to African cinema have also been recognized through her participation as a ten-time member of the College of Screeners (Sub-Jury) for the prestigious African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).

As a filmmaker, Delphine believes that every story has the power to educate, inspire, challenge perspectives, and bring people together. Through Itambi Studios, she remains committed to producing high-quality films and creative content that celebrate African voices while connecting with audiences around the world.

Itambi Studios was founded by Delphine Itambi in 2008. While pursuing a degree in Chemistry at the University of Buea, Delphine discovered that her true calling lay beyond the laboratory. Inspired by countless hours spent reading novels with her siblings, she developed a deep passion for storytelling and a desire to bring meaningful stories to life on screen.

While still at university, she wrote and produced her first feature film. Seeing her debut reach the big screen confirmed what she had always felt, that filmmaking was more than a passion; it was her purpose.

Determined to refine her craft, Delphine enrolled at the New York Film Academy in 2011, one of the world's most immersive hands-on film schools. After graduating, she returned home and began collaborating with both local and international African filmmakers, building a career dedicated to authentic, impactful storytelling.

Today, Itambi Studios continues that vision by creating films and original content rooted in African culture and universal human experiences. Every project is driven by the belief that stories can inspire, educate, entertain, spark meaningful conversations, and contribute to positive social change.
